Ø  Construction Update –The heating and air conditioning units have been delivered and are in place on the roof.  The duct work is being installed now and upon completion, the Heating/AC system will be complete throughout the building, insha Allah.  The flooring is now completely installed and waxed, Alhamdulillah.  The doors have also been delivered and installed.   The sound system is being installed and should be complete by May 1^st, along with mirrors, towel dispensers, soap dispensers, etc. in the bathrooms, insha Allah.  For further updates or information, contact Dr. Ali Metwalli.

Ø  Al Huda Weekend School - Classes are on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 AM until Salatul Dhuhr.  For further information or updates please contact the school principal, Bro. Haneef Muhammad.

Ø  Arabic Translator Needed – Volunteers needed to do translation work for an Iraqi family who will be in Grand Rapids next week for an indeterminate amount of time.  If you are able to help out, please see Bro. Aly Mageed

Ø  Festival of the Arts – Downtown Grand Rapids on June 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th, insha Allah.  Let’s all get ready to make this another successful event for the Masjid. For further details, contact Bro. Ismail Lubis or Bro. Mukhtar Ahmed.

Ø  Advertisements – If you would like to advertise your business, service, items for sale or rent, items wanted or needed, etc. contact Bro. Kamal Nuriddin. Anything posted on or around the notice area without authorization will be taken down and discarded. 

Ø  Iqamah Times – Until further notice, the Iqamah will be at 30 minutes after the Adhan of Salatul Fajr, Salatul Dhuhr and Salatul Asr and 10 minutes after the Adhan of Salatul Maghrib and Isha, insha Allah.

Ø  Family Prayer – Every Saturday morning at Salatul Fajr.  Bring the whole family out for Salah and a brief dars by Sheikh Morsy.  This Saturday (April 30^th), Salatul Fajr will be at 5:40 AM, insha Allah.  

Ø  Daily Classes with Sheikh Morsy – Fridays (Fiqh), Saturdays (Tafseer), Sundays (Tajweed) and Wednesdays (Seerah).  All of these short classes will take place between Salatul Maghrib and Salatul Isha, insha Allah.

Ø  Sister’s Halaqah – Every Thursday at the Masjid from 12:30 PM until Salatul Dhuhr with Sheikh Morsy.  Good opportunity to bond with your sisters in a format consisting of a short dars, tajweed, fiqh issues and questions and answers.  Sisters Only.

Ø  Adult Arabic Classes – Beginning Arabic with Sheikh Morsy every Tuesday between Salatul Maghrib and Salatul Isha, insha Allah. Basic reading class conducted by Bro. Aiman Islam Mueller every Saturday and Sunday between Salatul Maghrib and Salatul Isha, insha Allah.  The next session starts May 7th, insha Allah.  

Ø  Project Downtown – Every Saturday at 1:00 pm in front of the Guiding Light Mission on Division just north of Wealthy.  Contact Sis. Debbie, Sis. Norillah or Bro. Kamal to donate or to volunteer.
